Sinopec Petrochemical Engineering announced that the Group recently signed a total EPC contract with China Zhong Ke (Guangdong) Petrochemicals as part of the chemical and power station of the Sino-Korean joint venture.
The project is located in Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, China. The main scope of work of the contract includes: 800,000 tons of steam cracked ethylene plant in the following year, 400,000 tons of pyrolysis gasoline hydrogenation unit in the following year, 550,000 tons of polypropylene plant in the following year, and 350,000 tons of leap year high-density polyethylene plant, 25 10,000 tons of leap year EO and 400,000 tons of leap year EG devices, 100,000 tons of leap year EVA devices, 180,000 standard cubic meters of coal hydrogen production equipment and other major chemical production equipment, as well as power stations and other supporting utility units and Auxiliary production facilities. The total amount of the contract is approximately RMB 10.932 billion.
The contract will take effect from the date of signing, and the date of the agreement will be October 2019. The total amount of the contract will be included in the group's unfinished contract volume
It is reported that China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, which is controlled by Sinopec Group, the ultimate controlling shareholder of the company, holds a 100% stake in Sinopec (Guangdong).
